about

Quadelectronic 141 - 18th February 2020

This proved to be something quite special; with two newcomers Tim Baker and Alan Bellamy, both of whom brought something unique to the melting pot, the mysterious music that happened on this cold evening had a unifying dark aesthetic, dynamic, fascinating and deeply experimental, in the realms of dark ambient or 'isolationist' music.

An hour and fifty minutes of music were recorded that night. To include only the best material for a more coherent listening experience, this was edited down to an hour and twelve minutes, within CD limits. The near-23-minute finale, however, has been preserved intact, a snapshot of seven sound explorers creating together on the fly without overwhelming one another.

All titles were selected at random from Isaac Asimov's 1955 novel 'The End of Eternity'; an aptly mysterious source.
